Verify acoustic performance in the completed building
A material or product rating does not independently describe the performance of a complete partition in a building. Workmanship, junctions and room conditions can influence the field result. Before testing, we define the arrangement being assessed, the measurement purpose and comparison criteria, and check access and preparation of the spaces needed for a useful survey.
The measurement scope is selected for the properties to be checked and the conditions on site. We document the element and its surroundings, carry out the test and derive the parameters defined by the chosen method. Comparison with agreed requirements helps an investor or designer relate findings to acceptance checks, refurbishment or a reported sound transmission problem.
The assessment applies to the tested arrangement in its observed condition, not every similarly described partition or the material alone. Where further investigation is warranted, we identify connections or conditions needing examination without automatically assigning the cause to one layer. This service covers field measurements only; chamber testing belongs to the separate scope of KFB Labs.

What you receive
You receive a field test report identifying the tested element, conditions, results and assessment within the agreed scope. It explains what the measured property represents and whether additional checks are needed. The report supports discussions about workmanship, acceptance or refurbishment without replacing a laboratory characterisation of the product.
Scope and limitations
On-site measurements only; chamber testing is provided by KFB Labs
